About Experience Ventures

Experience Ventures was built for owners who want advice they can trust at the most important moment of their career.

This firm exists because too many great businesses are sold through processes that prioritize speed, optics, and intermediaries over judgment, durability, and long-term outcomes.

Built from the operator’s seat

Experience Ventures was founded by Vic Keller, an operator who has started, acquired, and operated companies across industries—from automotive chemicals and consumer products to technology platforms and veterinary supply.

He has scaled businesses, navigated hard seasons, and exited when the timing and structure were right, including selling three companies to Berkshire Hathaway. He has worked with strategic buyers, private equity firms, and long-term operators across sectors.

That lived experience shapes everything about how this advisory operates. The firm is grounded in operating reality, not theory.

Companies built, invested in, and advised

The Experience Ventures network includes companies the firm’s leadership has built, acquired, invested in, or operated across the lower middle market:

Why this firm exists

Most M&A advisory firms are designed to run transactions.

Experience Ventures was designed to help owners make decisions.

Selling a business is personal. It involves risk, identity, family considerations, and years of effort. Too often, owners are rushed into processes before they understand their options or the long-term implications of the choices in front of them.

This firm was built to slow that moment down and bring clarity, perspective, and control back to the owner.
The philosophy
Enterprise value is created when a business is durable. Durable systems, repeatable operations, predictable cash flow, and reduced dependency on any one individual create confidence on the buy side. Confidence lowers perceived risk, and lower risk commands a premium.

The firm helps owners position their businesses so future performance is underwritable, not hopeful. This positioning work often creates more value than any negotiation tactic.
Alignment
Experience Ventures works with a limited number of privately held businesses where alignment, trust, and long-term thinking matter. The firm’s incentives are simple: success is measured by whether the owner made the right decision—not just whether a transaction closed.

Sometimes that means selling. Sometimes it means waiting. Sometimes it means restructuring or preparing for a future exit.
